SMU INDANCITY is a contemporary dance club for those who seek mastery of techniques and expression of the art form. Led by its Resident Choreographer, Dan Kwoh, the club has represented SMU at numerous local and international dance festivals. Natalie Khoo is the Festival Ambassador from SMU INDANCITY.
When I’m not dancing, you can find me at:
Natalie: SMU’s School of Social Sciences.
I feel instantly reFRESH!ed with a cup of:
Natalie: Coconut water!
The first thing that comes to mind about FRESH! is:
Natalie: Lemons, of course!
SMU INDANCITY is FRESH! to me because:
Natalie: I have always wanted to try contemporary dancing. It’s clearly one of the best choices I’ve made in SMU.
Tell us what’s FRESH! about SMU INDANCITY’s performance at SMU Arts Festival 2016.
Natalie: This year is INDANCITY’s 10th anniversary. We’ve decided to put a fresh spin on the choreography and performance in our performance, BEYOND 2016, by using unconventional props, unexpected dance moves, light hearted themes and a delightful pre-show segment that will almost certainly change your idea of contemporary dance.
There is a matinee and a gala show for BEYOND 2016 to be performed at the Capitol Theatre on 10 Sep at 3.00pm and 8.00pm respectively. This is a ticketed event. Click here for ticket price and more information.
